DAY ONE
Launceston, Tamar Valley Wine Route, St Helens
In Launceston, you’ll be met by your driver/guide at the airport. Travel along the Tamar Valley wine route and stop to sample wines at Pipers Brook as well as sparkling wines at Jansz Wine Room. Then stop at Apsley Myrtle Forest to join a walk along Myrtle Creek. Tonight, enjoy a dinner and drinks in St Helens. Overnight at St Helens, Tidal Waters Resort, amid acres of natural lagoons and landscaped gardens.
DAY TWO
Binalong Bay, Freycinet National Park, Wineglass Bay Lookout
Begin a day of adventure with views over the Bay of Fires. Travel to Freycinet National Park and walk along Cape Tourville then join an active walk to Wineglass Bay Lookout. Alternatively, spend some time at leisure and maybe stroll along Richardson’s Beach, or perhaps upgrade to either a twilight sea kayak paddle or a 4WD adventure to Bluestone Bay (own expense, enquire for details). Tonight enjoy a BBQ feast featuring local produce, overlooking the bay at sunset. Stay overnight at Freycinet Lodge, located within picturesque Freycinet National Park
DAY THREE
Tasmania Gourmet WandererRichmond, Hobart, Freedom of Choice Touring, Dine Around Dinner
Discover the heritage towns of Ross and Richmond, where many convict-built buildings and iconic bridges still stand. On arrival in Hobart, select from our fantastic range of Freedom of Choice Touring options. Tonight, enjoy a Dine Around Dinner at Wrest Point Hotel. Two night stay at Hobart, Wrest Point Hotel. Enjoy amazing views of the Derwent River from your Tower Harbour View Room
DAY FOUR
Tasman Island Eco-Adventure Cruise, Port Arthur, Hobart
Be treated to an eco-adventure cruise off Tasmania’s south-east coast from Eaglehawk Neck. See the massive sea cliffs at Cape Pillar, wildlife at Cathedral Rock and watch for migrating Humpbacks or even Southern Right whales. Marvel at the sheer crags of Tasman Island as your guide escorts you along the coast. Then visit Port Arthur Historic Site for a fascinating insight into convict life. You’ll also have the chance to cruise around the Isle of the Dead. Tonight is at leisure in Hobart.
